Charlie Rubin is a New York based Photographer & Artist that can turn any portrait, fashion inspired story, or brand direction into art--on location or in his studio.

Rubin's collaborators are thought of as trendsetters and unique industry newcomers or leaders.

Born in the Bronx (1986), Charlie was the recipient of the Foam Talent Award from the Foam Museum in Amsterdam in 2013; the following year, he published his first book, Strange Paradise (Conveyor Arts 2014), In 2015, he held his first solo exhibition, “Intervention,” at the Kopeikin Gallery in Los Angeles and has since had additional exhibitions at PCNW in Seattle, Foley Gallery in New York City and more. His work had also been acquired in collections at the MoMA library, the Henry Art Museum in Seattle and Haverford College.

Charlie Rubin's art warps the workaday week, blurring the line between reality and fiction. Using landscape, still life and portraiture techniques--and subsequently layering in painting, sculpture and collage--Rubin captures intimate details of life and living and in doing so, subtly uncloaks a cultural sea change.
